Experience and Accomplishments
Paul has served as lead attorney on hundreds of matters in Indiana and other states, representing clients in state and federal courts. His areas of expertise include:
- Litigation and Dispute Resolution: Successfully resolving hundreds of disputes before and during litigation, including product liability, constitutional law, construction, and commercial matters.
- Appellate Practice: Handling over 70 appeals in state and federal courts, including oral arguments at the Indiana Court of Appeals, Indiana Supreme Court, and the Seventh Circuit. Paul has also contributed to merits and certiorari briefing at the United States
- Expert Witness Management: Experience taking and defending technical depositions, deposing industry leaders and academics, and successfully excluding opposing experts in state and federal courts.
- Business Advising: Guiding clients on risk management, litigation avoidance, employee and leadership issues, and strategies for maximizing business value prior to sale.
- Class Action and Multi-Jurisdictional Litigation: Managing complex class actions and litigation across multiple jurisdictions, as well as serving as local counsel in sophisticated cases.
